Enterprise Development Programme

The Programme aims to assist in the establishment of new high technology export-focused companies by incubating them within the campuses of the Líonra network of colleges: AIT, GMIT, IT Sligo, Letterkenny IT, NUI Galway and St Angela's College.

Five EDP participants are based in the Midlands Innovation and Research Centre at Athlone Institute of Technology.  Products being developed include process control software, customer satisfaction measurement solutions, mobile content management systems, security middleware and mobile healthcare solutions.

EDP supports include the expertise of experienced mentors, business-planning assistance, access to sources of funding, peer-learning from other new start-up / established companies and networking opportunities.
